Do you know when is the Sabbath day in the bible ?




if asked, usually, retruning answer is " Sunday."That's what i've got as an answer....i can say," general answer"from them....Even though Some people who goes to Church on sundays, know that the sabbath is the 7th day,Saturday, but they seems they don't care about "the day". Then, let's find out how important "the day" of Sabbath is thru the bible.





Ex 20:8 "Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy."





Which means, there are 2 things.





1. "Remember" the 7th day as Sabbath day !


2. "Keep" the Sabbath day holy !






God already knew that as time passes by, there would be lots of people who forget the sabbath day....Look at the today's churches that they keep the sunday( Sun God, Mithra's holy day ) worship.





On the Sabbath Day we receive lots of Blessings as belows





REST (Gen 2:1)


HOLINESS (Gen 2:1)


SIGN BETWEEN US AND GOD (Ex 31:13)




"Say to the Israelite, 'You must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the LORD , who makes you holy.


If not, God would say this "I never knew you" plz see,


Matthew 7: 21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?'

Then I will tell them plainly, " I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!"





" Firstly, Remember the 7th day as Sabbath day

Secondly, Keep it holy !"

The Sabbath is so important that it is ranked the 4th


Commandment out of Ten commandments.






Jesus Christ and even Apostle Paul kept the Sabbath Day. (Luke 4:16, Acts 17:2.. Acts 18:4). But what happened? Why are many Christians worshiping on Sunday? The Bible actually testifies that Sunday is the 1st day of the week. Mark 16:9 "When Jesus rose early on the 1st day of the week. .."


Jesus resurrected on Sunday--the 1st Day. Sunday, the 1st day, is not the day God blessed or made holy. Sunday cannot be the 7th day, Sabbath (Mark 16:1).


Then...what about this verse?


Acts 20:7 "On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight."


Someone may say that the above verse is an account of Sunday worship. Is it?


God commanded us to keep the Sabbath, on the 7th day, untill the end of the world according to

Matthew 24:20 Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath






You should know the Sunday service is not in the Bible, this was originated from Pagan's custom (Sun God, Mithra's holy day)


According to the teachings of early church established by Jesus 2.000 years ago kept the sabbath day.
So the same church, The World Mission Society Church of God keeps the Sabbath day to enter the kingdom of heaven
